Search "best data science course in India" and every result claims the title. The truth is there's no single best course — only the best one for your goals, budget and starting point. Instead of a ranking you can't verify, here's the checklist I'd use to judge any program honestly.
1. Who actually teaches it?
The single biggest quality signal. Are the instructors working practitioners who ship real systems, or full-time trainers reading slides? Ask for names and current roles. You want someone who has solved the problems you're about to face, recently.
2. Is it live, or just recordings?
Recorded content is cheap and everywhere — and completion rates for it are notoriously low. Live, mentor-led sessions with real feedback are what get people to actually finish and get hired. If a course is purely pre-recorded, price it accordingly.
3. What will you build?
A certificate doesn't get you hired; a portfolio does. Look for 3–5 real, end-to-end projects you keep and can defend in an interview. Ask to see examples of past learners' capstone work.
4. Does it teach deployment and modern AI?

6. Is the price transparent?
