# FDE engineering foundations lab

Run `python 11-Blog-Programme/labs/fde-engineering/engineering_cases.py` from the repository root. The lab executes twenty standard-library checks covering packaging metadata, dependencies, types, unit rules, fixtures, mocks, traces, logs, Git review records, merge semantics, permissions, configuration, HTTP/JSON contracts, queue states, data structures, complexity, refactoring, AI-code review and setup guides.

No package is built or published, no Git remote is changed, no permissions are changed, no network/API or external queue is called, and no AI tool or notebook runs. Records are synthetic. The lab demonstrates local reasoning and contract checks rather than a deployed service.

The verifier must pass all 20 checks and save `engineering-verification.json`. Instructor and editorial review remains pending.
